Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Cancelled events

If BWET or the event organiser cancels an event and does not provide a replacement date or equivalent arrangement, affected customers will normally be offered a refund of the eligible ticket amount. The refund method may depend on the original payment method and payment provider.

2. Postponed or changed events

If an event is postponed or materially changed, BWET will communicate the available options where possible. A ticket may remain valid for the rescheduled event. Where a refund option is offered, the request must follow the instructions and timeframe communicated for that event.

3. Customer ticket cancellations

Where a customer can no longer attend for personal reasons, a refund is not automatic unless the event-specific terms, BWET's written confirmation or applicable law provides otherwise. Contact BWET promptly so the circumstances can be reviewed.

4. Tourism bookings

Tour cancellations may be affected by transport, venue or other third-party commitments already made for the booking. If BWET cancels an experience and cannot provide a suitable alternative, eligible amounts will normally be refunded. Customer-requested cancellations are assessed against the booking details and any non-recoverable third-party costs disclosed or reasonably incurred.

5. Shop orders

If an item is unavailable after payment, BWET will offer an appropriate replacement, credit or refund. If you receive the wrong, damaged or materially defective item, contact BWET promptly with the order reference and reasonable evidence of the issue. Any rights that apply under applicable consumer law remain unaffected.

6. Duplicate or failed payments

If you believe you were charged more than once, charged for a transaction that the site reports as failed, or did not receive the expected booking/order confirmation, contact BWET with the payment reference. BWET may need to verify the transaction with the payment provider before issuing or confirming a refund.

7. Wahid Foundation support

Support or donations are intended for charitable and community-support activities rather than the purchase of a product. If a contribution was made in error or duplicated, contact Wahid Foundation promptly. Refunds are considered case by case, particularly where funds have already been committed to an agreed project or beneficiary activity. Any separate sponsorship, grant or investment agreement will govern where one exists.

8. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are normally sent back through the original payment method where practical. Processing time can depend on the payment provider, bank or mobile-money operator and may continue after BWET has initiated the refund.
