Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 17 September 2026
These terms apply when you use the BWET website or obtain events, tickets, tours, products or related services through it. They also cover enquiries and partnership discussions made through the Wahid Foundation page.
1. Using the website
You may use the website only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to interfere with the site's security, access restricted administration areas without authorization, misuse tickets or payment flows, submit false information, or use the service in a way that harms BWET, its partners or other users.
2. Accuracy and availability
We aim to keep descriptions, dates, prices, availability and other information accurate. Event schedules, venues, tourism arrangements, stock and other operational details may change. Where a material change affects a confirmed purchase, BWET will use reasonable efforts to communicate the available options.
3. Event tickets
- A ticket is valid only for the event, date, ticket type and quantity stated in the confirmed booking.
- Digital ticket identifiers and QR codes should be kept private. BWET may reject a duplicated, altered, cancelled, refunded or already-used ticket.
- Entry may remain subject to venue rules, safety requirements, age restrictions or organiser instructions disclosed for the event.
- Refund and cancellation treatment is described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy and may also depend on event-specific information shown before purchase.
4. Tourism experiences
Tourism activities may depend on minimum participation, transport, weather, venue access, third-party availability and safety conditions. Participants are responsible for following reasonable safety instructions and disclosing information that is necessary for safe participation. Material changes or cancellations will be handled under the applicable booking information and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Shop orders
Submitting an order does not guarantee fulfilment until payment and stock are confirmed. Product colours or appearance may vary slightly because of photography or device displays. Delivery, collection or fulfilment arrangements shown during checkout or communicated after purchase form part of the order.
6. Payments
Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout. Payments may be processed by an independent payment provider. You authorize the payment provider and BWET to process the information needed to complete and verify the transaction. A payment attempt is not a confirmed booking or order until the system records it as successful.
7. Wahid Foundation support and partnerships
Submitting a support, sponsorship or partnership enquiry does not create a binding financial commitment by either party. Specific funding, sponsorship, restricted-use support, reporting, publicity, project delivery or investment arrangements should be set out in a separate written agreement where appropriate.
8. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the BWET name, branding, website design, photographs, text, graphics and other original website materials may not be copied, republished or commercially exploited without permission. Third-party material remains the property of its respective owner.
9. Third-party services
The site may use or link to third-party services such as payment platforms, messaging services and embedded media. Those services have their own terms. BWET is not responsible for a third party's independent systems, policies or outages, although we will assist with transaction issues that relate to a BWET booking or order where reasonably possible.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by applicable law, BWET is not responsible for indirect losses caused by matters outside its reasonable control. Users remain responsible for their devices, internet access, travel to venues and compliance with event, tour or venue instructions.
11. Changes and disputes
We may update these terms as services evolve. The version published when a transaction is made will generally apply to that transaction unless a later change is required by law. If a problem arises, please contact BWET first so it can be reviewed and, where possible, resolved directly.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent through the BWET contact page.
